The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience overseeing a broad portfolio of global capital projects, ranging from small-scale projects to large, complex developments. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from design and construction through commissioning, closeout, and handover to operations.
- Develop and implement strategic project delivery vision and plans that align with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and manage multi-year capital budgets to ensure projects remain within financial constraints and deliver expected value.
- Lead proactive approaches to project management by establishing and implementing key metrics to regularly assess and report on the health of projects including budget, schedule, scope, risks, and other critical success factors, ensuring early identification and resolution of potential issues.
- Provide executive-level reporting on project budgets, schedules, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure effective coordination among internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to maintain project momentum and proactive measures to prevent delays.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by developing and implementing effective processes and procedures grounded in Lean methodologies, while encouraging collaboration and teamwork across all project teams.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders and provide on-going management of these strategic partnerships and responsibility to ensure reporting and communications is frequent and multi-directional while being a point of escalation for Project Delivery, globally.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners and cross-functional teams to support global consistency and standardization of project delivery.
- Manage and collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to produce high-quality, cost-effective construction documentation aligned with project goals.
- Work closely with the Real Estate & Facilities Integrated Facilities Management (RE&F IFM) provider to ensure project delivery vision and objectives are achieved.
- Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize design solutions while upholding functionality, sustainability, and long-term asset value.
- Ensure all projects meet regulatory, zoning, and municipal requirements, minimizing the risk of permitting delays.
- Establish and implement thorough construction oversight protocols to ensure adherence to approved design, budgets, and schedules.
- Develop detailed project schedules and milestones, ensuring timely execution and proactively mitigating potential delays.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to monitor quality control, workmanship, and compliance with project specifications.
- Resolve construction conflicts and unforeseen site conditions collaboratively with contractors and consultants to maintain project efficiency.
- Implement and oversee risk management strategies, establishing robust contingency planning to address potential disruptions.
- Oversee cost estimating, bidding, and procurement processes to secure competitive pricing and alignment with current market conditions.
- Track project financial performance, approve payment applications, change orders, and contract modifications as needed.
- Lead initiatives to achieve cost savings while maintaining project quality, safety, and long-term operational efficiency.
- Work with local and state municipalities to secure entitlements, negotiate tax increment financing (TIF) agreements, and manage zoning, permitting, and other regulatory approvals.
- Represent the organization in public-private partnerships, ensuring alignment of project goals with municipal requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with city planners, economic development agencies, and regulatory bodies to streamline project approvals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Oracle, municipal entities, contractors, and consultants to drive project success.
- Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture, ensuring project teams are aligned and working towards common objectives.
- Integrate sustainable design and construction practices to meet environmental, energy efficiency, and resiliency standards.
- Apply emerging construction technologies and project management methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve project outcomes.
Skills And Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field from an accredited institution. (Master’s degree highly preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in construction project management, with a strong background in ground-up development.
- Demonstrated success in leading mega-scale projects ($1B+) from concept through completion.
- Extensive experience in construction oversight, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Proven track record of managing architects, engineers, and consultants to develop and refine design and construction documents.
- Expertise in working with municipalities, including navigating TIF agreements, zoning approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of capital budgeting, financial modeling, and public-private partnership structures.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams, including consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Multidisciplinary understanding of real estate, facilities, engineering, construction project management, and environment health & safety (EH&S).
- Ability to work at an Oracle campus daily and located within thirty miles (commute distance) to Oracle’s Nashville, TN campus.
- Relocation assistance may be considered for candidates relocating to a location within commute distance of Oracle’s Nashville, TN campus.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 - $291,800 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
