An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Pharmacist to join a growing specialty pharmacy team. Term of Assignment: Contract to Hire | Start ASAP (client is focused on finding the right fit)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Duties:
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications
- Manage specialty therapies including factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, subcutaneous therapies, and IV infusions
- Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, side effect management, adherence, and safe medication handling in the home
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and internal care coordinators to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with reimbursement processes, prior authorizations, and patient financial assistance programs
- Support specialty pharmacy operations and clinical patient management initiatives
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
- CareTend experience is a major plus
- Open to obtaining additional state pharmacist licenses
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Interest in long-term growth opportunities within the company
