Travel or Local Pharmacist – Wray, Colorado (Direct Hire)
An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a retail pharmacy team in Wray, Colorado. This direct hire position offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts only. The ideal candidate will have recent retail pharmacy experience and a strong commitment to patient care in a community-focused environment.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8-Hour Day Shifts)
Start: ASAP
Term of Assignment: Travel Contract, Contract-to-Hire, or Direct Hire
Location: Wray, Colorado
Job Duties:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly patients
- Supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians and billing clerks
- Monitor and review patient medication profiles for accuracy
- Identify drug allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapies, and ensure rational drug therapy
- Support and follow retail pharmacy policies and procedures
- Maintain quality control standards and controlled substance security procedures
- Ensure proper hazardous waste disposal compliance
- Participate in 340B program initiatives, antibiotic stewardship, and pharmacy-related meetings
- Stay current with pharmacy best practices through continuing education and professional development
Requirements:
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License in good standing
- 1+ years of pharmacist experience
- Recent retail pharmacy experience required
- 340B experience preferred
- Willingness to relocate or stay in Wray for the assignment
- Supervisory experience preferred
