About the Role: Pharmacy Liaison
As a
Pharmacy Liaison, you will serve as the
primary point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients, providing end-to-end support throughout their treatment journey.
What You’ll Do
- Manage patient relationships as the single point of contact for specialty pharmacy services
- Support patients with refills, medication adherence, and ongoing therapy management
- Coordinate drug delivery logistics to ensure timely access to medications
- Identify and resolve insurance, prior authorization, and copay challenges
- Monitor adherence and proactively intervene to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate across the care continuum with clinical pharmacists, providers, and clinic staff
- Ensure patient concerns are resolved quickly through cross-functional coordination

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 2–5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (required)
- 5–8 years preferred, especially in specialty pharmacy or clinical settings
Licensure & Certification
- Active State Pharmacy Technician Registration (required)
- CPhT certification preferred
Key Skills
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and extract relevant data

Preferred Specialty Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
- Transplant
- Hepatitis C
- Infectious Disease (including HIV)
- Oncology
This information is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Shields Health Solutions. An employee in this position can expect a salary rate between 50k and 65k plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable. The actual salary will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
