How This Role Impacts Live Oak And Its People
This role is at the core of cleanliness and safety in the food services of Live Oak.
What You’ll Do At Live Oak
- You will be 100% responsible for the cleanliness of the dishware, silverware, pots and pans, kitchen equipment, etc. and sanitizing of all
- Handle china and glassware carefully to prevent breakage
- Keep dish room and all dishwashing equipment clean and in good working order, notifying kitchen manager of any functional or mechanical issues
- Monitor and maintain back stock of detergents and cleaning supplies
- Load, run and unload dish machine
- Monitor water temperature, detergent, sanitizer, and rinse levels to ensure proper sanitary wash cycles
- Routinely monitor and remove trash, recycling, and compost throughout the day from the kitchen dining room and patio as needed
- Monitor bus tubs throughout the kitchen cooking and prep stations, maintaining soap and sanitizer buckets as well
- Restock all clean and dry service ware, utensils pots and pans
- Perform additional tasks when requested
- Breakdown clean and sanitize dish machine at the end of the day
- Sweep and mop dish room
- Follow and complete opening and closing checklists
Required Experience
- Able to work flexible hours, occasionally evenings
- Knowledge of sanitary guidelines
- Have working knowledge of dish machine specifications and operation
- Have a positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Work well with others
- Work unsupervised but communicate clearly and be willing to follow directions and ask questions for clarification as needed
- Stand for long periods
- Lift, transport and stack dish racks and deliveries up to 50lbs
- Stoop, bend, reach overhead and climb a ladder
- Work carefully in a wet, humid, noisy fast past kitchen

The base pay range for this position is $19.77 - $32.12 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate’s salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
