Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for the daily administration of National Accounts to ensure that customer requirements are met within the parameters of agreed contracts. The National Accounts Specialist is the Primary contact and is responsible for complete customer follow-up and general order administration.
Essential Functions
- Set up accounts, maintain scale profiles for each customer site, receiving repair calls, dispatching to distributors, problem solving all account issues for both distributor and end customer
- Ensure that all dispatching, billing and credits to distributors are entered accurately and timely
- Receives and transmits all incoming calls, emails, and faxes to ensure that service calls are addressed timely
- Responsible for all aspects of order entry for National Service ensuring accurate tracking of billing codes, services performed and customer’s ISO requirements
- Ability to manage customer accounts and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with customers
Key Duties
- Maintain positive relationship with distributors, respond appropriately to all requests from distributors and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
- Coordinate collection of paperwork for all service orders not sent in timely
- Provides technical consultation and sales advice to the caller
- Works with and provides input to the Service Manager, Customer Account Manager, Product Manager, and Applications Specialist on product, service and competitive issues
- Maintain and update various accounts
- Enforce company policies and procedures in a fast paced environment Liaison between customer and distributors to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
- Work closely with National Accounts Sales for quality and customer service delivery
- Skilled in evaluating historical performance data to identify trends and implement customer‑focused process enhancements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Education Qualifications
Knowledge: Basic telephone knowledge, Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, basic accounting and business administration preferred
Skills: Ability to read maps and find locations, proven skills in modern office practices and procedures, strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Abilities: Ability to multi-task, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ability to work under tight deadlines, quality and customer oriented, proven ability to make independent and qualitative decisions
Education: High School degree or equivalent. Associate's degree in business administration or equivalent work experience required.
Compensation Information
$20.10 - $29.80
