Your role at Baxter:
We are seeking a Director of People Analytics to lead our data-driven HR strategy and provide key insights to inform business decisions. This leader will be responsible for developing a strategic roadmap for people analytics, optimizing our HR technology stack (including Workday and Power BI), and partnering with business leaders to drive meaningful, data-supported workforce initiatives. This role requires a visionary thinker who can translate complex data into actionable strategies, enabling leadership to enhance talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, and overall business performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and own the strategic roadmap for People Analytics, aligning with HR and business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, translating workforce data into insights that drive action.
- Design and deploy predictive analytics models (e.g., attrition risk, talent supply/demand forecasting, internal mobility) to anticipate workforce needs and enable proactive talent and business planning.
- Lead the evolution of people analytics capabilities, ensuring the company leverages cutting-edge methodologies and technology.
- Utilize Workday, Power BI, and other analytics tools to develop dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support talent acquisition, workforce planning, DEI initiatives, and employee engagement.
- Identify trends, correlations, and business risks using advanced analytics to inform decision-making.
- Establish and refine KPIs and benchmarks to measure HR effectiveness and business impact
- Optimize and scale our Workday and Power BI capabilities to deliver robust workforce insights.
- Partner with IT and HR technology teams to enhance data governance, integrity, and accessibility.
- Drive automation and self-service analytics, empowering HR and business leaders with real-time insights.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to integrate people analytics into business and workforce planning.
- Support leadership in making data-driven decisions regarding talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and workforce productivity.
- Champion a culture of data literacy across HR and leadership teams to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Build and lead a high-performing People Analytics team, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous learning.
- Mentor and develop talent within the team, ensuring expertise in HR analytics, data visualization, and statistical modeling
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Data Strategy, or a related field, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in HR analytics tools, particularly Workday and Power BI.
- Experience with predictive analytics, workforce planning, and statistical modeling
- Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for People Analytics.
- Familiary with AI/ML applications in HR Analytics
- Experience with predictive analytics, workforce planning, and statistical modeling.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills—able to present complex insights to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance in a global organization.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $176,000 - $242,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
