Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active Delaware School Psychologist license, or eligibility with pending licensure
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and staff
- Demonstrated capacity for collaboration and problem-solving
- Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in and support IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights to student plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective interventions
- Develop and implement positive behavioral and mental health supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal and state regulations
