Job Summary And Qualifications
Supports the custom contracting team (Medical Devices) in its pre and post-engagement data review and analysis of member spend. Supports Senior Financial Analysts during vendor engagements on both national and custom contracting. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various savings and tracking analyses for hospital facilities
What you will do in this role:
- Data querying and cleansing of detailed facility purchase histories for Medical Device service lines accessed using business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, MS Power Query/Pivot, and Microstrategy Visual Insight), internal and external data sources (e.g. EDW) or other sources (e.g. spreadsheets or supplied databases)
- Support Consulting Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts on both national and custom financial analyses
- Maintaining and managing data tables for spend and recognition information
- Creating Savings Opportunity Analysis for prospects and leads
- Effective communication of results to finance team lead
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of detailed pricing files as related to contract engagements
- Development of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals and improving processes
- Ad Hoc requests from management
- Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of purchasing agreements
- Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Interacts with IT for innovative product analysis
- Up to 10% travel
What qualifications you need for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting - Required
