We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a short-term contract assignment in Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with recent retail experience looking for a consistent weekday schedule in a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Term of Assignment: July 13 – July 17
Job Duties:
- Verify prescriptions and ensure dispensing accuracy
- Provide patient counseling and medication education
- Oversee daily retail pharmacy workflow
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service in a retail environment
- Perform typical retail pharmacy duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
- 1+ year of recent retail pharmacy experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting
