Join a grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska for an ongoing part-time opportunity with a flexible rotating schedule. This assignment offers a great opportunity for a pharmacist seeking consistent part-time hours in a retail setting with the potential for long-term placement.
Schedule:
Two week rotating schedule with flexibility based on candidate availability and pharmacy needs
Week 1:
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Total: 24 hours
Week 2:
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Total: 17 hours
(Pharmacy Manager is open to discussing schedule flexibility)
Job Duties:
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy
- Provide patient counseling as needed
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and technician support
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Deliver strong customer service in a retail setting
Requirements:
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with the schedule when needed
- McKesson Enterprise preferred but not required
