This role focuses on supporting students across various grade levels, ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, in a year-round academic setting.
The school hosts 78 students in total, distributed across 10 classrooms, each designed as a self-contained environment with an 8:1:3 staff-to-student ratio, ensuring individualized attention and support. The majority of students are non-verbal and utilize alternative communication methods, highlighting the importance of specialized speech therapy services. The age range of students is from 5 to 21 years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy tailored to students with severe communication and cognitive needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize alternative communication strategies to support non-verbal students.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy progress and adapt techniques for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
