A contract opportunity is available for a Radiology Technologist skilled in diagnostic imaging. This role calls for professionalism, flexibility with work hours, and a focus on safe, age-appropriate patient care. The individual will be responsible for independently performing a wide variety of technical procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging studies, and collaborating with clinical teams and students.

- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 10pm
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Radiography certification required
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Entry-level candidates welcome; must be dependable, accountable, and adaptable to department and patient needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain procedures and address patient concerns
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while operating as part of a collaborative team
- Sound judgment and attention to detail with capacity to prioritize and multitask
Key Responsibilities
- Perform imaging exams according to established protocols, ensuring accurate patient identification and safety
- Gather clinical history, prepare patients for procedures, and optimize imaging technique to obtain quality diagnostic studies
- Respond appropriately to urgent patient needs and maintain readiness of emergency and imaging equipment
- Educate and support patients and clinical students, providing clear instructions and explanations of procedures
- Maintain and disinfect imaging equipment, restock supplies, and keep workspaces orderly
- Document all procedures accurately and completely, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Utilize critical thinking to clarify ambiguous orders and seek assistance when needed
