An opportunity is available for a Certified Surgical Technician to support a dynamic surgical team in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. This travel assignment offers a rewarding experience working across diverse specialties including Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, OB/GYN, Ophthalmic, and Urology.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by handling instruments and ensuring availability of supplies.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure proper sterilization and functioning of surgical equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Certified Surgical Technician.
- Proven experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, OB/GYN, Ophthalmic, and Urology surgeries is required.
- National certification is highly preferred.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Prior travel experience is highly preferred for this role.
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
