Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for multiple potential placements in the northwest suburban Illinois area. This Next School Year opportunity offers flexibility in placement based on candidate strengths, interests, and location preference.
Position Overview
- Orientation: August 3, 2026
- First day with students: August 6, 2026
- End date: May 27, 2027
- 37.5 hours per week (full-time)
- Placement matched to candidate preference, skills, and availability
- Onsite only
- School district details will be disclosed upon candidate qualification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services in both English and Spanish (bilingual requirement)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district/state guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible CFY)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred (or CFY eligible)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience & Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- School-based experience preferred
