Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Facilities Technician located in Tempe, AZ. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and supporting facilities-related projects. The role also involves ensuring compliance with company safety standards and local regulations while collaborating with other on-site teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Facilities Maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborative and communication skills to work with team members and external vendors
- Experience with building management systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field is preferred
