What We’re Looking For:
As our dedicated Director of Information Technology, you will own the technology infrastructure, systems strategy, and digital operations that power our business. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will translate business needs into reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions while building and mentoring a high-performing IT team.
This is a hands-on leadership role: you will set strategy and also roll up your sleeves when it matters. You will be the company’s primary technology authority — advising the executive team, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring our systems keep pace with rapid growth.
What You Bring to the Table:
Required8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
Proven track record managing IT for a company with 100–300 employees and $50M+ in revenue
Strong background in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications
Experience owning and managing an IT budget
Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain technical talent
Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical executives and stakeholders
PreferredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent
Experience supporting a PE-backed or high-growth company through a scaling phase
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, or HIPAA
Experience with ERP implementations (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute a 3-year IT roadmap aligned to company growth and business objectives
Partner with the CEO, CFO, and department heads to identify technology opportunities and risks
Build and manage an annual IT budget of approximately $3 million, including capital and operating expenditures
Report IT performance, risk posture, and project status to senior leadership as needed
Infrastructure & OperationsOversee all infrastructure:
Migration to a multi-cloud environment (Azure/AWS)
maintaining and sunsetting on-premises systems,
Networking, and end-user computing
Ensure 99.9%+ uptime for mission-critical systems through proactive monitoring, redundancy, and incident response planning
Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and execution
Manage the company’s Google Workspace environment and collaboration tools
Cybersecurity & ComplianceOwn and revamp the information security program including policies, controls, vulnerability management, and security awareness training
Maintain compliance with relevant frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or equivalent) as applicable to the business
Lead incident response efforts and conduct regular tabletop exercises
Manage identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and zero-trust initiatives
Enterprise Applications & DataOversee the ERP (Epicor P21), CRM (Hubspot), HRIS (HiBob/ADP), and other core business systems; manage integrations and data flows between platforms
Partner with Finance, Operations, and Sales on system selection, implementation, and ongoing optimization
Champion a data-driven culture by ensuring clean, accessible, and reliable business data
Evaluate and drive adoption of AI and automation tools that create measurable business value
Team & Vendor ManagementHire, develop, and retain a team across help desk, infrastructure, application development, and security functions
Set clear goals, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews
Manage relationships with MSPs, SaaS vendors, and technology consultants; negotiate contracts and SLAs
Establish IT service management (ITSM) processes and a ticketing system to deliver consistent, high-quality support
