We are looking for a Materials Analyst to drive inventory strategy and operational efficiency by partnering with the Materials Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end inventory management processes within the ERP system. This role blends hands-on analysis with cross-functional collaboration to support production, improve data accuracy, and identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and inventory optimization. You will play a key role in balancing supply and demand, supporting business decisions with data-driven insights, and ensuring smooth execution from planning through finished goods shipment.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage manufacturing introductions of new and redesigned products.
- Perform inventory analysis, identify opportunities for reduction and obsolete inventory.
- Monitor and understand Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Engineering Deviation Authorization (EDA) implementation dates.
- Expert user of the ERP and report writing system.
- Support personnel across all aspects of the ERP system and associated software, from order entry through to the shipment of finished products.
- Utilize software tools for adhoc and routine report writing.
- Apply appropriate problem solving techniques for process improvement opportunities and implementation.
- Determine the financial impact of business decisions related to inventory.
- Coordination and active participant in inventory audit processes.
- Review order backlogs and assist in determining appropriate production rates and lead times for all assembly areas.
- Gain a solid understanding of the ERP Planning processes, (APS). Collaborate with IT to ensure that the parameters are configured correctly, so our ERP planning functions efficiently.
- Understand production scheduling techniques for all production areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 8 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to interpret data, trends, and financial impacts of inventory decisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
