Job Details
The Business Development Intern will support AnewHealth’s growth initiatives by assisting with market research, partnership development, pipeline support, and strategic projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to healthcare business development, payer/provider partnerships, and value-based care strategy. The intern will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to help advance AnewHealth’s mission and market presence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partners
- Support business development initiatives, including prospect research, lead tracking, and CRM data maintenance
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, pitch materials, proposals, and executive summaries
- Analyze data related to market opportunities, customer segments, and performance metrics
- Participate in internal strategy discussions and external meetings with prospective partners or clients
- Support special projects related to new markets, service line expansion, or strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to align growth strategies with organizational goals
- Perform administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the business development team

Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Experience
- Prior internship or coursework related to healthcare, consulting, sales, or strategy
- Experience with data analysis, market research, or financial modeling
- Familiarity with healthcare delivery systems, payers, or provider organizations
- Strong interest in healthcare, population health, or value-based care
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus

Schedule: This is a full-time position (flexible based on academic schedule).
Duration: Summer / Semester-based; flexible.
