We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with occasional Saturdays and the chance to transition into a permanent position. The pharmacist will play a key role in preparing compounded medications and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week between Monday – Friday
- Shift options between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Term of Assignment: 13 weeks (Temp to Perm potential)
Job Duties:
- Prepare and dispense compounded medications, including sterile and non-sterile prescriptions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and oversee inventory management
- Provide pharmaceutical guidance and counseling to patients
- Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technicians
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
- 1–2 years of pharmacy experience (open to new grads with a strong interest in compounding)
- Familiarity with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards
- Experience with retail pharmacy workflow and prescription processing
