RNI Refurbishment Technician (Temp)
Position Summary
As member of FFF Enterprises' (FFF) RightNow Inventory Program’s (RNI) team and under the direction of the RNI Operations Manager, this role is responsible for performing and executing processes related to the servicing and support of our hardware. This role will work with fellow RNI team members to prepare service kits for shipment, ship out parts, configure Windows computers per customer, and maintain an orderly workspace. Assist in any number of activities related to machine configuration, deployment, operation, and technical support.
This is a fully onsite role at our Flower Mound, Texas location.
The shift time for this role is M-F, 8:00-16:30 CST.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Organizes and prioritizes work in such a way to ensure that customer specific issues are addressed in urgent, expedient and efficient manner.
- Ensures that problems and solutions are documented and recommends any corrective actions to help support the customer.
- Maintains good documentation practices in order to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Performs setup or refurbishment of NUCs (Intel based computers) as well as service kits.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Example of day-to-day duties:
- Working onsite within a warehouse setting.
- Answering questions via email or MS Teams related to shipping deadlines from internal customers.
- As part of the Operations team this role will schedule part shipment and coordinating arrival prior to a work order being performed.
- Attend daily huddle meetings to align with daily/weekly goals and objectives.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Windows computers, how they operate and how to perform basic tasks.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Familiarity with FedEx shipping software
Required Experience:
- Minimum one (1) years’ experience working within a warehouse environment
Required Skills:
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to work as part of a team
- Sound decision-making abilities
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Working condition include warehouse setting.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’ situations.
