Position Overview
The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting our sales floor and client partnerships. This individual will collaborate closely with Account Executives, provide back-office support, assist with client and candidate needs, and help maintain seamless office operations. This is a highly visible, service-oriented role that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities
Colleague & Sales Floor Support
- Partner daily with Account Executives to support day-to-day operations.
- Troubleshoot candidate-related issues within internal systems (payroll, benefits, time sheets, etc).
- Maintain working knowledge of all back-office systems to assist with general sales floor questions.
- Generate and distribute reports as needed.
- Serve as a collaborative team member, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
- Manage team’s celebrations (anniversaries and birthdays).
Client & Candidate Support
- Assist with account management and help resolve client concerns
- Coordinate interviews between fulfillment teams and Account Managers.
- Help with sales report management.
- Prepare and send assignment confirmations and related documentation to clients.
- Creation of placements using our CRM system.
- Help set up food and/or marketing stationery for client meetings if needed.
Office Coordination & Administration
- Support general administrative and office operations.
- Coordinate building access, technology and welcome gifts for new hires.
- Assist with incoming/outgoing mail and package delivery.
- Order and restock marketing supplies for our department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Previous sales support experience.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
