Job Summary
The Production Planner will report to the Planning Manager and be based at Amcor Evesham, with occasional travel to Amcor Ledbury to support business activities as required.
The role is responsible for professional planning, procurement service with key technical support skills to the business to ensure good quality, reliable service and delivery in the most cost-efficient manner. A key requirement is the successful management of our supply base to ensure production plans are set, taking into account the internal efficiencies and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Build rolling four week production plan for manufacturing assets across both UK Flexo sites (AF Evesham and AF Ledbury)
- Manage the provision of the fixed weekly production schedule
- Maintained the material demand management in SAP/ Atlas.
- Production order creation and maintenance
- Mid-term capacity planning
- Managing customer service (sales) requests
- Confirming product availability dates to customer service representatives
- Optimising production efficiency whilst delivering customer requirements

In addition to the above, the job holder is expected to undertake any task as directed by his/her line manager that could be reasonably expected within the remit described and is within their capability.
Requirements
1. Formal Qualifications and Experience
· SAP (ideally APO) experience is preferred but training will be given
· 2-3 years min planning experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment is ideal
· Packaging industry experience preferred (not essential)

· Highly analytical and organised
