Objective Of Position
The Loan Servicing & Escrow Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the Escrow Servicing and Participation Servicing team. This role will ensure that all aspects of loan servicing – establishing escrow accounts to the core system, disbursing real estate and tax payments, performing escrow analysis, the loan boarding of parts/syndications, daily servicing of part related transactions and supporting the business units with the highest integrity and quality customer service..
Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitors the administrations of all Loan Servicing department functions and ensure all servicing functions are regulatory compliant.
- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates workflow, systems processes, and department needs for continual process improvements.
- Responsible for establishing team/individual goals, provide routine coaching for personal development, completing performance review and maintain open clear consistent communication with individual on performance.
- Manage and lead teams responsible for Participation Servicing and Escrow Servicing.
- Monitors the administration and servicing of the participation and syndication loan portfolio activity.
- Supervise all escrow processing and insurance tracking for both escrowed and non-escrowed property and/or flood insurance.
- Participates in Core system releases and enhancements, including training of staff.
- Participates in loan system conversions of acquired institutions.
- Reviews the policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all company, investor and regulatory requirements and laws.
- Maintains G/L asset accounts and suspense accounts, ensuring that weekly and monthly G/L reconciliations from Finance are complete and accurate and follow up research is performed on all outstanding items.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how the loan servicing function contributes to achieving overall business goals.
- Completes projects and audits for the Loan Operations department.
- Participates in ongoing training programs, including online banker training courses
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees and customers.
- Assists in drafting, implementing and modifying department policies and procedures.
- Gathers data, preparing, and distributing periodic reports for internal sources and external entities as necessary (i.e. daily, monthly and quarterly).
- Stays abreast of company policies and procedures by attending and successfully completing all mandatory corporate and departmental training.
- Stays abreast of organizational and regulatory policies and procedures through education and attending internal and external training functions.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related degree.
- 3+ years of commercial loan servicing experience including real estate, small business and corporate loans.
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory and/or management role.
- Strong understanding of the commercial lending life cycle including credit, administration, servicing and post-closing.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate, consumer and commercial real estate documentation.
- Solid understanding of the commercial and mortgage servicing core systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Be self-motivated and an effective time and project manager with a strong attention to detail.
- Have strong change management, organizational and planning capabilities.
- Ability to identify, understand and define problems, evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects and implement high quality solutions.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to directly manage and communicate multiple projects and priorities depending on organizational needs and strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Possess strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

This role allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, with occasional visits to the office based on business needs. Specific in-office days may vary and will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation & Benefits
Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
The salary range for this position is between $72,000 to $89,000.
In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more! Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
