Hybrid Position
Salary Range: $78,000 to $82,000 Per Year, dependent upon education and experience.

The Business and Marketing Operations Analyst is an introductory role within the Global Product Management team in the MedTech division. This position serves as a central partner to multiple global product managers, supporting both the generation of data-driven insights that inform commercial strategy and the operational execution of marketing initiatives.
The role sits at the intersection of product marketing, market intelligence, and business analysis. The analyst acts as a hub for global product marketing activities while helping transform internal data and external market intelligence into clear insights that support product strategy, business case development, and portfolio decision-making.
This position offers broad exposure to global product strategy, commercial operations, and new product development. It is well suited for a highly organized and analytically minded professional who enjoys working with both business data and marketing initiatives. The role provides a strong development pathway toward future positions in product management, marketing strategy, or commercial leadership.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Portfolio Management for Transfusion Medicine.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Commercial Insights
- Leverage internal and external data to generate insights that inform commercial strategy and product management decisions.
- Analyze internal business data such as sales performance, gross profit, pipeline progression, and R&D investments to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate external market information including industry reports, competitor activity, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that guide product strategy, commercial initiatives, and business cases.
- Develop dashboards and automated reports to monitor key performance metrics including sales performance, pipeline development, and product adoption trends.
- Prepare and present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to product management and cross-functional leadership.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Support
- Support global product strategy by monitoring the competitive and technological landscape.
- Continuously monitor the global market environment, including emerging technologies, therapeutic developments, regulatory changes, and industry investment trends.
- Track competitor activity and synthesize intelligence into structured insights that inform product positioning and strategic planning.
- Support product managers with analysis of customer feedback, market data, and product performance trends.
- Contribute to business development initiatives through market assessments, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity evaluation.
Business Case & Portfolio Support
- Assist product managers in evaluating investments and maintaining strategic plans for the product portfolio.
- Support development and maintenance of business cases for new product initiatives and portfolio investments.
- Assist with financial modelling and KPI analysis, including metrics such as NPV, IRR, and payback where appropriate.
- Help maintain portfolio planning documentation and track progress against strategic objectives.
Marketing Operations & Execution
- Support global product managers across multiple product lines by coordinating core marketing operations and ensuring the smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
- Manage marketing operational processes, including promotional material routing and approval (e.g., AdProm), marketing letter development, and documentation coordination.
- Support geo-expansion and cross-functional project meetings by organizing materials, tracking decisions, and ensuring timely follow-up on deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, tools, and workflows to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
New Product Launch & Lifecycle Support
- Provide operational and analytical support for product launches and lifecycle management activities.
- Partner with global product managers on projects supporting new product launches and lifecycle initiatives.
- Assist in the development of customer-facing materials including presentations, training tools, and launch documentation either internally or with vendors.
- Support coordination of launch readiness activities across internal stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, life sciences, or a related field required; advanced business degree a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, commercial operations, business analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with analytical or visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Python, R) is an advantage
- Exposure to the medical device, bioprocessing, or life sciences industries
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; comfortable working with global cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analytical insights clearly.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and execution-focused with strong follow-through.
- Interest in medical devices, healthcare, and/or product management as a long-term career path.
