・ベンダーやサプライヤーと連携し、運用やプロジェクトを支援
・APAC チーム、Global GBS、EIT(Enterprise IT)各機能との円滑な連携

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Engineer is accountable for providing client support and info security support to the local Japan business team. The portfolio covers core enterprise systems, PC, basic network operations, technical customer support, information security, mobile and smart devices, basic level info security, and AV system. This role reports to the APAC Regional Manager - Cardinal Health EIT Shared Services.
IT Client Services team is responsible for delivering Tier 2 support for software and hardware assets—both virtual and physical—including desktops, laptops, iPhones, iPads, office and warehouse technologies, associated peripherals, as well as providing basic to intermediate networking and information security support.
- Strong hands-on experience with clients and office/warehouse hardware, software, operating systems, network configuration, server interaction, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborates with end users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill requests; Able to lead and work independently or as part of the team.
- Provides technical support through in-person, phone, or remote channels.
- Installs, removes, and configures hardware and software in both Windows and macOS environments.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to manage and deliver exceptional customer service. Partners with end users to correlate business requirements to technology solutions (strong business acumen).
- Prioritizes tasks efficiently and escalates issues appropriately when needed.
- Demonstrates foundational networking knowledge and communicates technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in operationalizing security. Knows how to create processes to ensure that security risks are being addressed.
- Solid understanding of privacy, data security, and compliance requirements.
- Able to travel on short notice to provide support for remote sites within Japan as required.
- This role requires on‑site presence in the office daily, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
Tactical / Operational Management Role:
- Communicates, collaborates, and partners effectively with APAC teams, Global GBS, and Enterprise IT (EIT) functions.
- Engages with vendors and suppliers at various management levels to support operational and project needs.
- Interact with and present to senior management regarding Corporate GBS goals and initiatives.
- Participative interactions towards resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects.
- Works effectively with Global IT and Information Security teams to ensure seamless delivery and continuity of technology services.
Accountabilities:
- Acts as IT infrastructure support and daily support for Cardinal Health Japan operations and is part of the global IT Shared Services International team.
- Provides ongoing local IT support to Japan operations and partners with broader Cardinal Health IT organization to deliver services to Japan.
- At the appropriate time, is prepared to expand scope of role to deliver other global IT services to Cardinal Health.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Japanese.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networking technologies, and business applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of three years of hands‑on IT support experience, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues end to end.
- Strong expertise working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Proficient in Intune, Autopilot, Group Policy, SCCM, ServiceNow, and Windows OS administration.
- Experience in a large multinational company, preferably with Tier II support exposure.
- Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
- Possesses foundational knowledge in information security; related certifications are beneficial.
