**Travel to Office expectations**
For Remote Roles: If this role is remote, there will be in-office events that will require travel to and from the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office. These will include, but not limited to, onboarding, team events, semi-annual and annual team meetings.
For Hybrid Roles: If this role is Hybrid, there will be an expectation to reside within commutable distance to the office/location specified in the job listing. Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Compensation, the Compensation Partner will partner with the Human Resource Business Partner, People Experience, and Talent Acquisition teams to support internal client groups across Canada and the United States. The Compensation Partner will provide advice and recommendations on a variety of compensation matters
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration and delivery of compensation programs (salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives) to support the attraction and retention of talent.
- Partners with the Human Resource Business Partner, People Experience, and Talent Acquisition teams to provide advice to the client groups on and formulate creative solutions on compensation-related issues, including but not limited to new hire offers, promotion requests, relocation requests, and retention concerns.
- Evaluates new or materially changed jobs and analyzes market compensation to determine an appropriate job level and salary range.
- Meets with business leaders, as needed, to gather additional context to support job evaluation and market pricing and explain rationale for outcomes.
- Supports the annual compensation planning cycle, including reviewing market compensation surveys, updating salary ranges, and partnering with the HR Systems team to upload data into the compensation planning module, to ensure accuracy of information for informed compensation decision making by business leaders.
- Contributes to participation in annual compensation surveys to support our commitment to purchase agreements and maintain relationships with compensation vendors.
- Participates in compensation-relate projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience providing compensation advice to client groups
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of compensation design practices, market insights, and industry trends.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience working with and manipulating large datasets
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- CCP Designation
- Experience working with Engineering & Technology jobs
- Experience with Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, and/or Aon Radford compensation surveys
- AI Fluency with tools like Copilot
- HCM/HRIS integrations experience

At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The Canada base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $85,000 + bonus + benefits, non-overtime eligible. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
