As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an
General Accounting Analyst to join our team in Mexico, who will be responsible for accounting, fixed assets, intercompanies, and reporting.
Your New Role
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial records that support the company’s operational excellence and strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in maintaining robust accounting processes, supporting month-end close activities, and providing reliable financial insights.
What You'll Be Doing In Your New Role
- Manage intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, and balance accuracy.
- Handle fixed assets accounting, including CIP tracking and monthly depreciation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the month-end sales process and revenue recognition.
- Book month-end accruals and validate related entries.
- Execute inventory closing activities and ensure correct valuation.
- Prepare monthly P&L and trial balances, ensuring accurate account balances.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to QO USA.
- Perform additional finance tasks as needed to support the team.
The Individual
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Accounting, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including advanced Excel for reconciliations and reporting.
- Experience working with JDE or SAP (or other major ERP systems).
- Intermediate/advanced English (desired).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Solid analytical thinking.
