Schedule
- 7 days on, 7 days off
- Day shifts (10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM)
- Wednesday to Tuesday rotation
Responsibilities
- Verify physician medication orders for accuracy and safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient therapy
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Support medication dispensing and inventory management
Desired Experience
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems is a plus
- Active New Mexico pharmacist license, or willingness to obtain a temporary license for immediate start
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
