Job Summary: ScriptPro Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a strategic, operational executive leader responsible for ScriptPro’s Information Services (IS) organization, responsible for maximizing the business value delivered through the organization’s systems. The role drives the optimization and evolution of existing enterprise IT systems, and introduces new systems, to enhance employee productivity, operational efficiency, and business excellence. The CIO provides hands-on oversight of IS infrastructure, application, and operations functions in the ecosystem of its strong cybersecurity and compliance policies. This leadership role values and models productive communication, alignment, teamwork, and problem-solving at all levels, and inspires the same from others.
Reporting Relationship: President
Shift: Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST; however, the role requires availability beyond these hours, including evenings and weekends, as business needs dictate. This role is performed both on campus and through remote work tools, with a regular schedule of 3+ days per week at the Mission, KS corporate headquarters per alignment with executive leadership.
Scope of the Role:
- Lead high performing teams to optimize enterprise IT systems and processes for business performance, operational excellence, and security
- Design and oversee on-premises, cloud, and data center environments for effective operation and migration
- Assess and promulgate new technologies as required to empower enterprise users and ensure responsible use
- Maintain effective, transparent reporting and executive alignment, including prioritization, cost, and outcomes measurement understandings
- Implement enterprise IT solutions, including cybersecurity assurance solutions, aligned with enterprise security and compliance policies
- Maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., HITRUST) and enterprise cybersecurity policies according to business need
- Ensure and promote business, leadership, and workforce continuity, transparency, and risk management through structures such as third-party audits, IS governance boards, disaster recovery, and retrospective panels
- Perform additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years senior-level leadership experience overseeing multiple IT functions
- Experience with security compliance systems (HITRUST); relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred
- Product-based technology organization management experience
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT, internal tools, cloud, and infrastructure
- AI policy and governance experience
- Experience with agile and DevOps operating models in a product-based, cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to set goals, manage performance, drive accountability, and balance innovation with stability in a product-based, outcome-focused model
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic alignment skills
- Strategic thinker with focus on internal business outcomes and employee-centric solutions
- Ability to foster a culture of trust, empowerment, collaboration, and servant leadership

Employment Conditions:
This position includes responsibilities for ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and privacy policies to support the safeguarding of sensitive data, including personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). Completion of annual cybersecurity and privacy awareness training is required, as the role aligns with the organization’s security posture and risk management practices. All duties are defined in accordance with standardizations to ensure consistency and accountability of the policies.
Working Conditions:
Requires routine use of standard equipment and extended computer use. Employee must be able to sit, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift, squat, stoop, bend, and reach. Problem-solving, practical learning, and instruction interpretation skills are essential.
