Join a womens health clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care with a full-time contract Ultrasound Technologist position based in Fruita, CO. This 26-week assignment offers a predictable daytime schedule, supporting work-life balance without nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound procedures per provider orders and clinical protocols, specializing in OB/GYN and general imaging
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure calibration and functionality before each use
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, including disinfecting equipment and restocking supplies after each patient
- Communicate ultrasound findings to referring providers promptly and manage follow-up for STAT results and patient inquiries
- Accurately document and transfer images and patient information, including coordination with Virtual Radiology for after-hours cases
- Support clinic workflow with excellent patient service and care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years ultrasound technologist experience preferred, ideally within womens health or related settings
- Current ARDMS registration in one or more specialties: General, OB/GYN, and/or Vascular
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
