With a salary starting at $90.00, Rx relief is looking for the right person to fill a Clinical Pharmacist position right now.
The Clinical Pharmacist will ensure safe, optimal and efficacious drug therapy for patients, as you review, process and monitor physician orders and patient medication profiles. As an active member of the health care team, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for contacting other health care professionals as appropriate performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the hospital’s mission and values.

Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing Alaska Pharmacist License
Education: PharmD
Years of Experience: 3+ years of recent experience in an inpatient clinical pharmacy setting, including USP 797 sterile compounding experience
Setting: Inpatient
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
Pay: $90.00 plus travel expenses will be covered.
Background/ Drug Requirements: Must be willing to submit to a background check, health and drug screen.
Clinical Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Consultation: Lead interdisciplinary rounds and provide expert clinical guidance to physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Sterile Compounding Oversight: Manage and execute high-quality sterile compounding in strict adherence to USP 797 standards.
Emergency Response: Serve as the primary pharmacy lead during code scenarios, ensuring rapid and accurate medication stabilization and delivery.
Autonomous Shift Management: Operate as the sole pharmacist on deck, effectively overseeing shift workflows and supervising pharmacy technicians with minimal oversight.
Direct Patient Care: Conduct personalized patient counseling and bedside care with a friendly, professional demeanor to improve medication adherence and health literacy.
Critical Care Availability: Participate in an overnight on-call rotation to ensure continuous pharmacy coverage for urgent clinical needs.
System Integration: Quickly master and implement facility-specific software and operational processes to ensure a seamless transition into the clinical workflow.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90.00 Per Hour
