A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across multiple grade levels in a dynamic school setting. This contract position involves working with students from Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, providing essential speech and language therapy services that promote academic success and communication development.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students. You will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop treatment goals and strategies that support students' progress. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports is also an essential part of this role.
Desired Experience And Qualifications
- Valid SLP credentials and licensure appropriate for working in school settings
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals
