A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher to support middle and high school students in Dover, NH. This onsite role is ideal for a licensed professional passionate about delivering tailored instruction and support within a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized education and support to middle and high school students with special needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to accommodate diverse learning requirements
- Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet each students unique needs
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) teaching license is required; please include a copy of your license and endorsements when applying
- Experience working with middle and high school students in special education programs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite full time; no virtual or remote options available
