Job Title: Imaging Service Coordinator
Position Description: Reporting to the Imaging Service Manager, the Imaging Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating service and maintenance of Modular Devices’ mobile medical units. These units contain complex medical imaging systems, including cardiac cath labs, CT, and MRI scanners, along with associated facility systems. This customer-facing role serves as the primary liaison between customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of service issues, clear communication, and accurate documentation. The position is based at our Indianapolis facility.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate service and preventative maintenance (PM) inspections of Imaging systems, HVAC/chiller systems and auxiliary equipment.
- Serve as first point of contact for customers regarding service needs, performance concerns, and operational issues.
- Coordinate repairs, calibrations, and testing of medical imaging equipment and facility systems in both field and in-house settings.
- Ensure timely communication of service status, risks, and resolution plans to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and OEM service providers, maintaining accurate service records and required supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement of service processes, vendor performance, and operational workflows.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Working knowledge of medical imaging systems, clinical equipment operation, and facility systems (HVAC, Hydraulic lift, Fire Alarm, Generator, and Electrical).
- Strong service coordination, vendor management, and project oversight skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and driven, with the ability to work independently.

Experience:
- Customer service experience with field service operations.
- Experience with cloud-based software such as Netsuite, Sharepoint, Office 365. .
- Valid Driver’s License Required.
Education:
Associates degree in electronics, biomedical technology, engineering technology, information technology, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, biomedical engineering, or business/project management
preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. (with assistance for items >50 lbs.) and perform occasional bending, stooping, twisting, and full-body mobility tasks.
Work Environment:
- Work Location: Primarily office-based.
- Remote Work: If the need arises to work remotely, including nights and weekends, employees are expected to work in a secure location to protect company data and have stable high-speed internet.
Additional requirements:
This is a full-time position. Employees are expected to work a general schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Employees may be required to work beyond the standard schedule to meet the deliverables and expectations of the role. Employees working from home, like those in an office, should use their time wisely and constructively plan their day since there is limited daily oversight.
