Speech-Language Pathologist K-12 Schools (Contract) Cambridge, MA
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in public schools serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in Cambridge, MA. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to support student communication and academic success across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review sessions
Desired Qualifications
- Valid and current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Strong knowledge of best practices for speech and language therapy in educational settings
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
