A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Special Education experience to serve a K-12 school population in Bristol, VT. This role involves working onsite during standard school hours, providing services to a mixed caseload of students in a dynamic educational setting.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid SLP license and have proven experience in both school-based speech therapy and special education, particularly with case management responsibilities. This position is a replacement for a virtual role, requiring the provider to be onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours weekly, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to a diverse K-12 student population
- Manage cases with a focus on integrating speech therapy within special education frameworks
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant regulations
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent licensure
- Experience providing SLP services in school and healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus but this role is onsite only
- Proven ability to manage a mixed caseload of students with varied educational needs
- Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education case management
