A part-time Social Worker position is available in North Charleston, SC, supporting an elementary school with approximately 800 students, with potential assignments at an additional school. This contract role involves working 1-2 days per week, totaling 10-15 hours, and offers the opportunity to provide essential support to young students within the school system.
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting social work assessments and providing interventions to support the social and emotional well-being of students.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized service plans.
- Addressing behavioral issues and facilitating access to community resources.
- Maintaining accurate records and complying with school and district policies.
Qualifications And Experience Desired
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred, with consideration for those new to the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
