Position Summary:
The US Care Data Insights Manager role is responsible for transforming complex performance and sentiment data into clear, executive-ready insights that guide care strategy and investment decisions across athenahealth. The role leads cross-functional analysis of NPS and other performance indicators, builds narratives and provides insights that inform leadership priorities, and manages programs that track impact over time. This position plays a critical role in aligning stakeholders around multi‑year trends, opportunities, and risks related to care experience and outcomes.

We connect customer sentiment, performance metrics, and business goals to identify what’s working, where we can improve, and how to prepare for what’s next. Our goal is to empower partners and leaders with the insight, alignment, and accountability needed to elevate the care experience while also informing the long-range strategic plan for Customer Care.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Translate quantitative and qualitative data into clear insight packages that shape decision options, recommended actions, and projected business or customer impacts.
Synthesize NPS, operational metrics, and external benchmarks to identify trends, risks, and emerging opportunities in care experience and performance.
Lead program management for cross-functional initiatives tied to care performance, sentiment, and readiness assessments.
Track initiatives, milestones, and outcomes; coordinate owners and follow up on leadership reviews and external assessments.
Partner with Analytics, Data, and Product teams to design and enhance NPS and performance dashboards.
Define and maintain KPI frameworks, ensure data quality, and surface performance drivers and variances.
Enable stakeholder adoption of dashboards by teaching usage, interpretation, and signal-to-action translation.
Develop analyses and materials for strategic retreats, leadership roadshows, and executive forums.
Create multiyear performance views, scenario analyses, and briefing materials to support planning and executive decision-making.

Retreat and roadshow analyses, materials, and summaries of decisions and follow-ups.
Multi‑year performance reports and trend analyses across key care metrics.
Assessment of readiness documentation and stakeholder briefing materials.
Initiative trackers, status reports, and outcome summaries.
General comfortability and curiosity around AI tools
Expected Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics, healthcare administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not required.
6+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, consulting, or business operations, preferably in healthcare or SaaS.
Demonstrated experience producing executive-level insight decks, dashboards, and recommendations that drive decisions.
Experience managing cross functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise narratives for executive audiences.
Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and comfort working with large datasets.
Familiarity with NPS, customer experience metrics, and performance measurement frameworks.
Excellent program management, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-ready presentations.
Expected Compensation
$90,000 - $154,000
The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package - depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
