Client Overview:
Our client, a global fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Sales Support Specialist.
Position Overview:
JOB TITLE: Call-center / Sales Support Specialist
PAY RATE: $30.00/hr on W2 contract
DURATION: 6 months temp with high possibility of extension
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
LOCATION: Hybrid role – mostly work from home. Onsite in the Las Colinas office 1–3 times per month
JOB SUMMARY:
- Seeking a candidate with prior phone-based customer service experience to support sales representatives for a large client. This role is primarily focused on handling inbound calls, researching case information, and providing status updates.
- The position also involves reviewing business rules and state laws related to account setup, along with collecting, interpreting, and recording data according to documented guidelines and standards.
- This individual will play a key role in supporting timely master data changes within their assigned domain, including Customer, Material, or Vendor data. The role works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to help improve service offerings and customer delivery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phone calls from Sales Representatives for a large client
- Research cases and provide status updates
- Review business rules and state laws related to account setup
- Collect, interpret, and record data in accordance with documented guidelines and standards
- Support timely master data changes within assigned domains such as Customer, Material, or Vendor
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve service offerings and customer delivery
- Work closely with Sales Administrators, Account Managers, Program Managers, Product Managers, Directors, Senior Leadership, and other staff
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous phone customer service experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable managing responsibilities that require attention to detail and adherence to established guidelines
