Meet The Team
This position will report to the Director IT Process, Data, and Analytics and will lead the strategy, development, and support of our manufacturing systems landscape. This role is critical to driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a highly controlled environment. High degree of visibility and pivotal to Dexcom’s overall success, the IT Sr. Manager will guide a team of high-performing IT/OT team members in all aspects of system strategy and lifecycle for our core manufacturing systems, working collaboratively with colleagues around the world as part of a global IT organization.

Where you come in: .
- Lead team of experienced professionals in technical design, development and implementation, and lifecycle support for global manufacturing platforms, ensuring compliance with GMP/GxP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR Parts 11 and 820.
- Understand and develop a deep knowledge of the application system landscape, including but not limited to Siemens Ops Center (Camstar), Mendix, Oracle EBS integration, and various 2nd tier related systems – PLM, LIMS, LMS, Maximo, etc.
- Drive automation in collaboration with manufacturing business owners throughout the manufacturing process in support of the Digital Factory implementation.
- Support full validation documentation across all development activities and manage validated systems throughout their lifecycle, including periodic reviews, change control, and re-validation activities.
- Participate in testing, release planning, and go-live deployments to ensure readiness and support continuity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and process efficiency.
- Contribute to a strategic application roadmap with annual portfolio planning updates and budget submission, contributing to the overall manufacturing and IT strategic plans.
- Manage the daily activities of direct reports and ensure continuous improvement and development of the team.
- Manage the budget for the responsible area and with regular forecast updates.
- Work closely with Manufacturing leadership teams to enable processes that support new product introduction, commercial launch, daily operations, and continuous improvement.
What Makes You Successful
- 10+ years of experience in all aspects of manufacturing systems management, including strategy, development, and support.
- Strong expertise in Siemens Camstar and Mendix platforms (highly preferred).
- Proven track record in system architecture, integration, and lifecycle management within regulated environments.
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of FDA requirements for validated systems, including GMP/GxP, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Parts 11 and 820, and electronic records/e-signatures compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Travel Required
Experience And Education Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 13+ years of industry experience
- 5-8 years of previous people management experience
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).

$141,800.00 - $236,400.00
