A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist for the 2025/2026 school year in Reading, PA. This role supports a 5th-6th grade building by providing essential psychological services and contributing to the academic and social well-being of students.
This position requires availability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility offered as long as a minimum of 30 hours is met. Work is primarily on-site with the option to work from home one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Collaborate with staff to support the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Engage with families, teachers, and administrators to promote student success
Desired Qualifications
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with upper elementary grades
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Reading, PA (primarily on-site with 1 day remote work per week)
