The Activation Manager (Mexico) plays a vital role in supporting the campaign strategy, execution and delivery of media campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. This role serves as an operational partner to the Media Strategy & Account Management teams. The Activation Manager will assist in campaign planning, ensuring program strategy aligns with client goals, delivers measurable results, and upholds excellence in service. Additionally, this role will manage backend processes driving campaign activation, performance tracking, and reporting are executed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
While not client-facing, the Activation Manager plays a critical part in delivering client success by ensuring that all internal processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate combines operational precision with a strong understanding of digital media strategy to help bring campaigns to life and maintain alignment with client goals.
Primary Accountabilities:
Client Strategy and Relationship Management (15%):
Demonstrate strong critical thinking by identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and providing data-driven recommendations that enhance campaign performance.
Develop client-facing materials including campaign proposals, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
Campaign Strategy and Operational Excellence (35%):
Oversee campaign planning, activation, and optimization to ensure timelines, deliverables, and performance targets are achieved.
Manage internal project workflows via Monday.com, Salesforce, and other systems to maintain visibility into campaign progress.
Conduct quality checks on deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client and brand standards.
Anticipate potential issues or delays, problem-solve proactively, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
Support the integration of influencer, retail media, and paid social components within broader omnichannel strategies and execution.
Maintain a strong understanding of evolving media trends, ensuring strategies remain current and competitive.
Client and Campaign Enablement (20%):
Partner with Account Management to understand campaign objectives, deliverables, and timelines to ensure alignment with client needs.
Translate campaign and creative requirements into actionable backend tasks, managing each through completion.
Gather, organize, and track creative assets, including influencer materials, ensuring all necessary files and information are secured prior to activation.
Coordinate with Ad Operations, Creative, and Analytics teams to ensure all campaign components are delivered accurately and on time.
Support the development of influencer briefs and the talent casting process by ensuring timelines, deliverables, and internal documentation are properly managed.
Maintain working knowledge across digital media channels such as retail media, paid social, influencer, and loyalty programs to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution.
Own the reporting cadence for assigned accounts, ensuring client reporting templates and data are accurate and ready for Account Management to review and present on schedule
Build client-facing wrap report decks that summarize key performance metrics, creative highlights, and campaign learnings, ensuring materials are accurate, polished, and presentation-ready.
Project Management and Operational Execution (30%):
Execute established operational processes and workflows across all campaign stages, from setup to post-campaign reporting.
Manage and track all campaign deliverables in project management systems such as Monday.com or Salesforce to ensure visibility and accountability.
Follow internal procedures to ensure SLAs are met and deliverables, including creative assets, reporting, and client-facing materials, are completed on time.
Conduct internal quality checks to verify campaign setup, creative accuracy, and data integrity.
Anticipate upcoming campaign needs and take timely action within established workflows to ensure progress without waiting for direction.
Collaborate across teams to ensure campaign readiness and successful handoffs between departments.
Maintain accurate documentation of campaign progress, creative status, and reporting milestones.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in advertising, marketing, communications or similar field
2-4 years of experience, preferably in a marketing role
Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Understanding of digital media channels, including paid social, retail media, influencer, and loyalty programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics,Tableau, and The Trade Desk is a plus
Preferred:
Experience supporting U.S.-based marketing teams or operating in a global team environment.
Familiarity with digital media workflows and influencer campaign operations.
Foundational understanding of campaign analytics and performance measurement.
Proficiency in project management and CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com, Salesforce, or similar).
