Responsibilities
- Facilitate effective communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing students by providing high-quality sign language interpretation in classroom and school activities
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure accessibility and inclusivity
- Support student engagement and participation in educational settings through accurate and professional interpretation
Qualifications
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated experience in educational settings preferred
- Ability to interpret complex academic content in real-time
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency working with children and families
- Availability to commit for the full school year onsite
