Job Summary And Qualifications
A Software QA Intern supports the quality assurance team by helping test software applications to ensure they function correctly, meet business requirements, and provide a reliable user experience. The role typically involves executing test cases, documenting defects, validating bug fixes, and assisting with regression, smoke, and functional testing across different environments. Under the guidance of senior QA team members, the intern may also help maintain test documentation, track test results, and support release readiness activities.
This position provides hands-on experience with the software testing lifecycle, including test planning, test execution, defect reporting, and quality validation. In addition to learning testing tools and processes, a software QA intern is expected to demonstrate attention to detail, critical thinking, communication skills, and a strong interest in understanding how software quality is built and maintained throughout development and deployment
What you will do in this role:
- Determine the business needs for your department and aide in development of streamlined processes to achieve these needs
- Analyze projects assigned in your area and utilize the resources at your disposal to meet required deadlines
- Communicate your progress on tasks with your leader regularly to ensure business objectives are being met
- Execute the requests given by your leader, team, and/or vendors you will be working with.
- Study and learn the different technical systems that you will be working in to support your functional area.
- Review the supporting documentation available to you to determine the ways to work more efficiently in your role.
- Perform other duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:
- Completed at least two semesters toward a Bachelor’s degree – Required
