What We're Looking For
Base Production Technician I will repackage bulk bases into smaller pack sizes as specified on work orders.
What You Will Do
- Follow written instruction on proper gowning, balance calibration, equipment operation, work order instructions and ensure that all data is documented accurately
- Retrieve product and components for next scheduled assignment
- Validate work orders and labels, verify documents and components are accurate and identical, and perform scale calibration
- Accurately weigh bases, perform repackaging, and operate filling equipment at a rate comparable to established standards and expectations
- Maintain and clean Production Rooms, equipment and utensils
- Document on the work order all packaging and raw materials consumed in the repackaging process
- Assist with related special projects, as assigned
Who You Are
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate level numerical and math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently in 8 hours a day
- Ability to push/slide and pull pallets using a pallet jack
- Entry-level Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Self-Motivated
