A school is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to cover a maternity leave from February 2nd to May 15th. This contract position supports students in a middle school setting, serving grades 5th through 8th. The role operates within a bell schedule of 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with full-time hours preferred, but part-time contractors will also be considered.
This position focuses primarily on conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students, utilizing the Frontline IEP platform. You will work independently within a single middle school building but will benefit from collaborative district-wide support. The schools principal and assistant principal are highly supportive, and although no other School Psychologists are based at this building, colleagues across the district are available to assist with processes and platform learning.
Key Qualifications And Desired Experience Include
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting initial special education evaluations and re-evaluations
- Familiarity or willingness to learn the Frontline IEP platform
- Ability to work effectively with school administrators and staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret psychological tests for initial assessments and re-evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop appropriate educational plans
