Maintenance Coordinator: About This Role
Our Maintenance Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include supporting plant equipment reliability by ensuring maintenance departments have planned work to perform weekly. The Maintenance Coordinator will work closely with the Manager of Facilities Engineering and Maintenance. The incumbent is highly organized, a master of prioritization and able to shift gears at a moment’s notice. Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. This is a full-time role, at our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.
What The Maintenance Coordinator Does Each Day - Assesses service requests for validity, accuracy, clarity, and completeness; Ensures compliance and expectations prior to approving service request
- Manages the work order and service request backlog
- Obtains quotes and issues purchase orders for maintenance related activities
- Prioritizes and plans work orders based on asset criticality
- Plans all aspects of non-emergency work orders to include parts required, estimated labor hours, special tools, detailed instructions and any coordination with contractors, other departments, and support groups
- Partners with maintenance, operations, quality, stockroom, and vendors as necessary to ensure backlog work orders include everything necessary to execute the work order
- Partners with other plant personnel to plan and schedule maintenance work
- Works with Facilities Mechanics to create non-Preventive Maintenance (PM) / non-Predictive Maintenance (PdM) job plans to include parts required, technical specifications, special tools, and detailed instructions
- Manages the maintenance job plan library
- Utilizes parts kitting process for PMs and all other work orders that can be scheduled and kitted
- Utilizes work order statuses to correctly partition work orders
- Discusses job details with originator of the work order as needed to clarify work and plan as required
- Work closely with Facility Mechanics to ensure:
- Weekly assignments are delivered on time
- Weekly assignments are returned in a timely manner to continue supporting the planning process
- Escalates issues for requested work which does not appear to be valid, feasible or has cost constraints, or requires engineering design/change control

Minimum Requirements For This Role
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in fast paced, changing environment
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas

- The base compensation for this role is estimated to be within the range described below. The compensation offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as experience, skills, training, education, certifications, geographic location, and market conditions
- Range: $24.50- $35.53/hr
