Summary
Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will work with the operations departments to improve efficiency, quality, and eliminate waste in the manufacturing process.
Project Responsibilities
- Support High profile 80 In-lining projects including: process mapping, time studies, Flow analysis, line balancing, production line/equipment design, justification, installation, and verification.
- Support daily manufacturing operations activities such as: Routing, Costing, Root cause corrective action, 5S, and continuous improvement.
- Support KPI improvement initiatives such as: Labor utilization, efficiency optimization and Rework reduction.
What We Are Looking For
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Currently enrolled with a minimum of two years completed towards degree.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Desire to obtain a career in Manufacturing Operations after graduation.
- Passion for manufacturing process design, verification, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Great communication skills, collaborative, enjoy a team setting.

Compensation Information
Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.90 per hour
