Essential functions include but are not limited to:
- Support product and process reliability activities through data analysis, trend evaluation, and root cause investigations
- Lead or support reliability investigations, including failure analysis, risk assessments, and corrective/preventive actions
- Analyze reliability‑related data from manufacturing, complaints, maintenance, and quality systems to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Apply quality and reliability engineering tools such as FMEA, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and statistical analysis
- Document reliability analyses, conclusions, and recommendations in technical reports and quality records
- Ensure Master Data accuracy and integrity for reliability‑related technical objects and maintenance records within SAP
- Oversee the creation, modification, and maintenance of SAP technical objects, ensuring alignment with quality and maintenance requirements
- Review all preventive maintenance (PM) data reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Generate, review, and distribute scheduled Preventive Maintenance compliance reports to Quality and Operations leadership
- Manage status changes for PM tasks when equipment is taken out of service or returned to service, ensuring proper documentation and traceability
- Support compliance of preventive maintenance processes with embecta quality systems and regulatory expectations
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries related to equipment reliability, maintenance compliance, and data integrity
- Ensure reliability and maintenance‑related activities comply with embecta quality policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process robustness, data accuracy, and risk reduction
